Tomorrow is a Super Moon, and oh I am very much looking forward to it! Last month’s New Moon saw me make a huge decision in regards to both my business and personal life – quite the new beginning & rebirth for me! And now as this Full Moon with her fulfilling energy draws near, I find myself with feelings of achievement, accomplishment and sheer happiness. (And complete exhaustion as well, but that may have something to do with suddenly having to home-school the hobbits whilst completely reorganising the business haha) I have been quite slack of late in my own self-care and following the Moon Cycle, so this is a huge reminder to me to start getting back into the swing of things.

Do you have a Full Moon Ritual? I do. Ish. Haha well as much as I can anyways. It’s not much or anything special, but it suits me and I can manage it around my usual mama duties:
• Clean then cleanse the house. Being a mum, I do clean every. bloody. day, however when I clean during Full Moon (and at New Moon), I feel like I do it with I dunno, something added. I am not sure what it is, but it’s just different. I make sure that I tidy my sacred spaces as well. I smudge at Full Moon with my Harmony smudge stick as I like the added-ness of the lavender.
• I write. About my hopes and dreams and my manifesting goals. I write in my diary, and also on some paper that I burn them with a candle. I then sit with some crystals for a bit of a meditation on what I have written.
• The Hobbits & I put our jewellery and a selection of crystals outside on a wooden board. I have way too many to put them all out so I leave the blinds open in my studio for the rest. Some crystals “ask” to go out then, while some are quite content with smudging and/or chilling with Selenite. I find it’s mainly my feldspar crystals (moonstone, larvikite etc) that like a turn outdoors.
• I physically go outside during the evening specifically to say hello to the moon. Like literally I will go outside for chats with her. My evening feels incomplete without heading out the back to go see her after my hobbits are settled in bed.
I don’t beat myself up if I can’t complete everything on the list, so please be kind to yourself if you can’t manage everything you want to do this time.
Being a time of reflection, completion, quiet, and celebration, the Full Moon is a good time for me to really embrace myself as a woman and mother, and to just chill & be gentle on myself. It is my time to enjoy what I have already accomplished, and to replenish my energies to continue on with my New Moon goals. I also like that I get my monthlies around this time too as that always serves as a reminder to slow down and let go of those things that need to be let go. It feels really nice to celebrate all parts of me.
Til next time, beautiful people.
