For this Full Moon, I have made a big wish: My wish is for more peace & love to go around, and the powerful & positive changes that need to be made, are made soon. My wish is for All to start taking care of our world and all of the living beings in it properly. My wish is for more kindness to go around, and for people to broaden their gaze onto our world. A broad gaze invites in new knowledge, gifts us new experiences, and teaches us lessons to be learned.
Love is a very powerful thing. Love can bring so much good. Love for our environment, love for our wildlife, and love for our fellow humans. Love and kindness are not weak. I personally have had my fair share of ridicule for showing kindness, compassion, and love. There are people out there that think I am weak and stupid for not being afraid to ask questions, and for embracing new experiences & knowledge, and for standing up for what I believe in, including for myself. And they are mistaken. I am not weak or stupid. And neither are You. You are Strong. You are Powerful. You are Magic. Your ability to show love and kindness makes you so. Hold your head up high if anyone criticises you for it. Be proud! Do not be afraid to question them back “Why do you have a problem with me showing kindness?”
Never be afraid to show love and kindness. Those qualities are far far stronger than those people realise. Embrace this change and join in to speak for those that need our support. The saying: “We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly, we need millions of people doing zero waste imperfectly” I think also applies for society right now. The more voices that speak up with love and support, the more that positive change will happen. We don’t have to be “perfect” about it, we just need to all come together. Our world thrives on peace and love the same way a child or plant or pet thrives on those things. Peace and love and kindness make up Earth’s Soulfood, and that is what we can give so easily. Coming together like that – we’ve seen it many times in the past, and we definitely can keep doing so now.
We as humans have the ability to make many wonderful things happen. We cannot change the past, but we can learn from those past mistakes to create a magical & beautiful world right now. At this moment there are people out there that need our support. Right now here in Australia our Indigenous friends and family need more voices to join them in making some much needed changes. Just like us rural communities needed your help, our wildlife and wildlife carers needed all our help, our Firies, Drs & Nurses etc. We all banded together with spirit, determination, and love to help those that needed it. And this time, through speaking up and peacefully demonstrating, I truly have faith that we can help make those much needed changes quite soon. I also feel the same for the rest of the world. Through love, we can do this! End racism, end bullying, and enter a more peaceful world.
